Isometric Sledgehammer or Dumbbell Hold

With a sledgehammer in each hand (hammer end pointing up), hold your arms out to your sides  in an iron cross position for as long as possible. The lower down on the handle you hold (placing more distance between your hand and the hammer), the harder the exercise will be. If you don’t have sledgehammers available, hold dumbbells instead.
